Squire Servance Launches Exploratory Committee for New Jersey’s 12th Congressional District
Pennington, NJ — November 25, 2025 — Squire Servance, a New Jersey–born attorney, health-equity advocate, and community leader, announced today the formation of an Exploratory Committee to consider a campaign for Congress in New Jersey’s 12th District.
Servance, who was born and raised in New Jersey and has spent his career working across law, healthcare, and innovation, said the exploratory effort will focus on listening to residents across the district and understanding the challenges facing working families — from rising costs to barriers in healthcare, housing, and aging infrastructure.
“I believe in a New Jersey where every family can afford to stay and thrive,” Servance said. “Where healthcare is accessible, seniors are protected, small businesses can grow, good jobs are created, and our children have real opportunities ahead of them. Over the coming weeks, I look forward to listening to neighbors, faith and community leaders, and families across NJ-12 as I consider the best way to serve.”
Throughout his career, Servance has worked at the intersection of healthcare and innovation, experience he says has shown him how policy decisions directly shape affordability, access, and opportunity for families. He is also deeply involved in community service, launching the Health Equity Ministry at First Baptist Church of Lincoln Gardens and helping relaunch its Maternal and Infant Health Ministry, focused on supporting mothers, seniors, and vulnerable families. Additionally, he serves as a Trustee of Rutgers University and as a member of the University’s Executive Committee, where he helps guide long-term planning, governance, and accountability for one of the nation’s leading public research institutions.
Servance says the exploratory phase will emphasize community voice, transparency, and solutions that strengthen “healthy, affordable, thriving communities.”
“Families are being priced out of the communities they love. Seniors are worried about healthcare and rising costs. Small businesses are working hard but too often feel unsupported,” Servance said. “As our district turns the page, we need leadership that continues showing up for families and builds on the strong foundation Congresswoman Watson Coleman laid.”
The Exploratory Committee will begin outreach immediately, including community conversations, listening sessions, and opportunities for residents to share the issues that matter most to them.
